Telehealth therapy is a welcome option for your therapy sessions. Research shows that online therapy services are as effective in treating many mental health concerns or conditions as in-person psychotherapy. Online therapy allows for remote sessions, providing convenience and accessibility. It eliminates geographical barriers and offers scheduling flexibility. The choice is yours based on your preferences and needs.
Couples counseling is a journey that helps you identify the root of relationship problems and learn and develop effective strategies for overcoming them. You’ll explore relationship patterns, restore trust, rediscover your passions for one another, and address dysfunction, paving the way for a healthier, stronger, and loving relationship.
We provide the support and structure needed in a safe, unbiased, productive space.
Individual therapy services can help you develop the skills to cope with or manage your life challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, unresolved trauma, family changes, life transitions, relational issues, or life stressors.
Our clinicians can provide guidance and support to help you develop coping skills, reduce emotional distress, and improve your overall well-being.
When an adolescent is having trouble with their mental health, it’s important for parents to consider therapy for their children. Child and adolescent counseling is beneficial to any young person. But for those who suffer, it’s critical. Treatment can involve family members, usually parents or other guardians/caregivers. Our clinicians can help teenagers learn how to manage and cope with anxiety, depression, and trauma, among other issues.
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) can significantly impact many aspects of your life, including your mental health, relationships, occupation, and overall quality of life. Although there is no definitive cure for addiction, there are distinct types of therapy treatments that can help you manage the disease and live a happier, healthier life. As treatment is highly individualized, the counselor will develop a tailored treatment plan based on your specific clinical needs and goals.
The Toll Of Addiction On The Family
SUD can also negatively affect the family throughout the process of addiction. The strain of a loved one’s SUD can create mental health issues, such as depression or anxiety, in the family system. We provide counseling to those families that have been emotionally affected by their loved one's SUD.
Our addiction counselors are certified by CAADE’s Addiction Counselor Certification Board of California (ACCBC).
Family therapy focuses on improving interfamilial relationships and behaviors. This modality may involve different combinations of loved ones, such as parents/guardians and their children, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, kinship caregivers, etc. The choice of therapy type depends on your family’s particular needs and circumstances.
Our clinicians may combine elements from different therapeutic approaches to best meet your needs. With their guidance, you will work on improving interactions and communication among your family members.
Do you need psychotropic medication management or an evaluation? We can connect you to one of our consulting psychiatrists.
What is PCIT?
PCIT is an evidence-based treatment for parents with children (between the ages of 2 – 7) who exhibit emotional and behavioral disorders. It emphasizes improving the quality of the parent-child relationship and changing parent-child interaction patterns.
PCIT is conducted via "coaching" sessions during which the parent or primary caregiver is in a playroom while the therapist is in an observation room watching their interaction through a one-way mirror and/or live video feed. The parent or primary caregiver wears a "bug-in-the-ear" device through which the therapist provides in-the-moment coaching on skills, and the parent or primary caregiver is learning to manage their child's behavior.
PCIT stands out with its unique two-phase approach: relationship enhancement and strategies for compliance. Unlike many other behavior parent training programs, PCIT encourages parents to learn and practice these skills both in sessions and at home with their child. Our PCIT Certified Therapists provide this type of therapy treatment.
"A person displaying this mark has met the certification requirements established by PCIT International to provide PCIT."
